Have you ever heard of the Mossad and their stories? If yes, then you surely would want to watch this. If no, then this will surely be a 2hr 45min dive into history which you wouldn't want to miss.

This movie is based on true events; The ones which followed the 1972 Black September, when a group of Arab terrorists took 11 Israeli Olympic athletes as hostage. Commotion ensued leading to all the terrorists and hostages being killed. The movie tracks the events that followed. A Mossad agent is given the task to lead a team of 4 to eliminate the people responsible for Black September, in a sort of "eye-for-an-eye" justice. The movie tracks each assassination chronologically and also the effect that they had on the agent's psychology.

Final Verdict: Its a long movie, but is totally worth it for all the thrill that it bears and all the insights it can give us into history, global politics and covert operations.

AMERICAN BEAUTY

Some movies can trigger an epiphany. And if not that, they do give you a lesson to turn to when you are demotivated and clueless about what next! American Beauty gives you a message. And it manages to do that with a gripping and interesting plot and acting to match.

It is the story of a suburban dad, undergoing a mid life crisis. He has a lot of problems; Having a crush on his daughter's friend being one of the highlighted ones. The movie shows us how he manages his situation and takes control of his life, in turn giving the viewers a new perspective of life. The movie is very entertaining. In fact you can't help chuckling during some of the scenes. The story also tracks the connection the father and daughter have with a teenage boy who moved next door. The movie sheds light on the boy's thinking and personality, which is quite attractive.

Final Verdict: I have seen a lot of good movies lately, but none of them beat this one! Its one of the rare gems that provide you with a revelation while entertaining you to the fullest. If you are on this blog, this is what you are looking for...

OLD SCHOOL

People who have passed out from college wish they could experience that life again. People in college wish they didn't have to do the studying part. This movie is a dream come alive on screen for both these groups. As the tagline of the movie goes, "All the fun of college, None of the education." This movie is one of the best comedy movies I have seen in the recent times. Lite-weight, easy-going....

Three men, with their own set of problems somehow get hold of a frat house in a college campus. So, what do they do next, they start their own fraternity! And that too without any academic complications. But then they find out that the dean of the college is one of their college mates, a nerd who they picked on during their time in college. The story progresses when they recruit more people and the dean becomes bent on closing them down. Its hilarity and escapism at its best!!

Final Verdict: In a mood for some light comedy, a la American Pie without the same level of adult content, this is it!!

FLASH OF GENIUS

Take the feeling that you get when you solve a tricky problem. Multiply it by 100 and you get what an inventor feels about his invention. "Flash of Genius" is a story of an inventor; Fighting for claims to his invention against the almighty Detroit car companies.

This is the story of Robert Kearns and his fight for the patent of the intemittent windshield viper. The movie is narrative. So if you are in for a nice story of a gruelling fight, do watch this. The story covers the part of Kearns life in which he made the invention and follows the subsequent developments in his life, his fight and its consequences.

Final Verdict: The movie strikes a chord somewhere. If your chips are down and you think of quitting because the fight demands a lot of time and energy, do watch this.
